Introduction
For B2B buyers supplying dance academies, gymnastics clubs, or stage costume retailers, the challenge is not finding a leotard. It is finding a leotard that survives daily training, frequent laundering, and performance demands—while meeting international safety standards.
Our Leotard Collection is designed specifically for this purpose. With OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabrics, in-house production equipment, and 20 years of export experience to 50 countries, we manufacture leotards that stay tight, bright, and comfortable far beyond industry averages.
Part One: Product Features - Designed for Training Environments
Professional sports clothing needs to be worn for long periods, washed frequently, and withstand thousands of stretches. Our fabric and structure are specifically designed to directly address these usage-related issues.
This page documents exactly how we achieve that—so you can evaluate us as a long-term manufacturing partner.
1.1 High elasticity fabric with rebound performance
Our one-piece garments are made of nylon/spandex or polyester/spandex blends, with at least 10-20% spandex content in key areas. This provides:
Four-way elasticity - free stretching in horizontal, vertical and diagonal directions
Shape memory - can return to original size after stretching
Long-lasting firmness - after several months of use, there is no sagging in the chest, hips or crotch
This is very important for coaches who need to observe body posture, as well as athletes who cannot tolerate the impact of loose fabric on jumping or rotational movements.
1.2 Moisture-Wicking & Breathability
During a 90-minute high-intensity class, a dancer can lose significant fluid through sweat. Our leotard fabrics are engineered with:
Hydrophilic inner layer – pulls moisture away from skin
Quick-dry outer surface – spreads moisture for rapid evaporation
Mesh or ventilation zones (on select styles) – increased airflow at back and underarms
The result: less cling, less chill after cooling down, and reduced bacterial growth between washes.
1.3 Skin-friendly and Wear-resistant
We have treated both sides of the fabric for smoothness, eliminating rough seams, frayed edges, or balling surfaces. The specific design choices include:
Flat or overlock stitching - snug against the skin, flat and wrinkle-free
Resistant to friction from floors and mats
Without metal components (unless specifically requested) - to prevent skin irritation
For customers with sensitive skin or infants, this helps reduce complaints and returns.
1.4 100 Washes - Color Fastness and Dimensional Stability
We do not claim "permanent stability", but we are confident that it has measurable durability. Independent washing tests conducted on production batches show:
After 100 washes, the performance (using warm water, at a temperature below 40°C, i.e. 104°F. Combined with mild detergent. Soak the garment for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.)
Color change ≤ 1.5 grades (almost invisible fading)
Dimensional change ≤ 3% shrinkage or stretching
Elastic recovery loss < 15% of original strength
Seam integrity: no balling, no breakage
This means that the studio can purchase a jumpsuit in September and still maintain a professional appearance by June, when the annual solo concert arrives.
1.5 Slim fit, simple lines, optimized for training and shaping
Our silhouette design takes into account the feedback from experienced dance instructors. Key features include:
Moderately tailored leg hems - allowing for free movement without excessive exposure
Moderate coverage of the mid-back and upper back (standard) - suitable for aerial skills or gymnastic flips
Minimalist design - no excess ruffles, bows, or loose shoulder straps
Professional appearance, without drama, suitable for daily use, auditions, and team uniforms.
Section 2: Our Manufacturing Capabilities – Equipment & Process Transparency
You are not buying a design from a catalog. You are buying consistent production across hundreds or thousands of pieces. We own and operate the following key equipment, all maintained on-site.
2.1 Cutting & Preparation
Automatic cutting machine – digitized patterns ensure identical panel shapes across entire orders. Fabric waste is reduced, and nesting efficiency increases.
Automatic winding machine – pre-sets thread tension and length, reducing breakage during high-speed sewing.
2.2 Sewing & Assembly
Needle detector – each finished leotard passes through a metal detection zone. This is mandatory for children’s wear and required by many B2B contracts.
Button sewing machine – for leotards with snap closures or decorative buttons (optional).
Press / ironing station – final shaping sets seams and eliminates folding creases before packing.
2.3 Reinforcement & Detailing
Eyelet / stud machine (also called pearl or tacking machine) – reinforces stress points such as strap attachments or bra-hook panels.
2.4 Decoration Techniques
We offer two different methods for adding logos, team names or game scenes:
Heat transfer printing - full-color, photo-quality image, with excellent wash-resistance, ideal for small batch production or event theme design.
Embroidery - raised stitches, with high texture. Particularly suitable for institutions that need to withstand years of use.
Both can be applied to the chest, back, lower left hip or sleeves.
Section 3: OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 - Certification as a Selling Point
The fabrics all meet the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Class II (direct skin contact). The certification testing items include: Formaldehyde
Heavy metals (lead, cadmium, nickel)
Pesticides and chlorinated phenols
Allergen-containing dyes
Phthalates (plasticizers)
What does this mean for your business:
Compliant with EU REACH, US CPSIA and similar regulations
Sellable to schools, government tenders and high-end studios
Reduced liability for skin reaction claims
According to requirements, we provide certificates and test reports for each batch of production. There are no hidden additional charges.
Part Four: 20 Years of Export Experience - 50 Countries
We began exporting bodysuits and equestrian clothing in 2006. Today, our shipment records include:North America: United States, Canada, Mexico
Europe: United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands
Asia: Japan, South Korea, Singapore, United Arab Emirates
Oceania: Australia, New Zealand
South America: Brazil, Chile, Argentina
Africa: South Africa, Kenya
Section 5: Quality Assurance Workflow
Every order follows this documented process:
Fabric receiving inspection – check shade, width, weight, shrinkage
Cutting accuracy check – compare first lay against pattern
In-process sewing audit – every 50 pieces, check stitch density and seam strength
Needle detection – 100% of finished garments
Final visual inspection – loose threads, print alignment, elastic twist
Random wash test – 5 pieces per lot washed 3 times to confirm no hidden defects
If any piece fails, the whole batch is rechecked. We do not ship mixed quality.
Section 6: Customized Services - From Patterns to Packaging
We offer semi-custom or full-custom services for most orders. The options include:
Collar style - V-neck, scoop-neck, crew-neck, round-neck
Back - Straight back, crossed back, V-shaped back, low back strap
Sleeves - Sleeveless, short sleeves, long sleeves (with cuffs)
Straight fit - Standard, high slit, medium
Print - Heat transfer printing, embroidery, no print
Labels - Customizable personalized labels or labels without brand logo
High-stretch mesh skirts or chiffon fabrics drape with soft elegance. Minimalist, graceful designs accentuate the dancer's poise, while the skin-friendly material resists snagging. Custom fabric/trim options available with low minimum orders. Ample Fabric Stock Ample Fabric Stock Our warehouse maintains ample fabric inventory. A wide range of fabric colors is available for your selection.
Quality control is of utmost importance. We have experienced quality inspectors who conduct inspections and packaging of the garments.
Each batch of fabric undergoes tension tests, breathability tests and color fastness tests to ensure the absence of harmful substances and compliance with international environmental protection standards.
In the sewing process, a double-thread lock-stitching technique is employed. Key stressed areas are reinforced to prevent thread breakage or jumping. Before leaving the factory, each item is inspected for size deviations and minor defects.
